NewtekOne Names Frank DeMaria as CFO

NewtekOne (NEWT) said Wednesday it named Frank M. DeMaria as chief financial officer, starting April 22.

The company also named Peter Downs as president of Newtek Bank, starting April 22, according to a statement.

Downs' appointment comes after Nicolas Young announced his resignation, effective May 16, the company said.

It added that Scott Price will retain his role as CFO of Newtek Bank.

Shares were up over 4% in recent trading.
