Woolworths Group (ASX:WOW) said it will close its Te Atatu store in New Zealand on Thursday, according to a same-day statement by the company.
The closure follows the company's recent confirmation of changes to its store operating model across New Zealand, where team members work across multiple functions instead of in separate departments.
The Workers First Union had reported that the restructuring may result in a reduction in income for thousands of workers and entail the disestablishment of all department management and duty supervisor roles.
