Pony AI said Friday it has teamed up with Tencent Cloud and Smart Industries Group to advance the commercial deployment of Robotaxi services.
The collaboration will see Pony.ai's Robotaxi services integrated into Tencent's Weixin mobility services platform and digital mapping tool, allowing Pony.ai to broaden its user base, the company said.
Tencent's competencies will also help improve the performance of the PonyWorld virtual model to better handle real-world challenges, Pony.ai said.
Pony.ai shares were up more than 14% in recent premarket activity.
