IonQ, EPB Partner to Develop Quantum Center in Chattanooga

IonQ (IONQ) said Friday it is partnering with utility company EPB to establish Chattanooga, Tennessee, as a quantum computing and networking hub in the US.

The company said it will set up an office in Chattanooga to provide quantum computing, networking, and application development support and training.

The EPB Quantum Center will include an IonQ Forte Enterprise quantum computer that will be shared by both companies. It will also house the existing EPB Quantum Network, which IonQ already supports.
