Hon Hai Precision (TPE:2317) sold its 62.15% stake in FIH Precision Electronics (Langfang) to affiliated firm Shenzhen Futaihong for 2.19 billion yuan.
The sale will help the company adjust its equity structure, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The sale generated a gain of $9.68 million, the apple chip supplier said.
