8) How do I downgrade from a margin account to a cash Account

 

To downgrade from a margin account to a cash account, please follow the below steps:
Send an email to clientservices@tigerbrokers.nz using your registered email address as per below:
  • Email subject: The application of degrading account to cash account
  • Body of the email:
          Name:
          Tiger Account number:
          Registered phone number:
          The reason why you would like to degrade the account:
 
The request to downgrade to a cash account can take up to 3 business days after the application has been received.
(Note: If the account currently has a position in options, futures and other derivatives, or has financing, pending orders, etc., then the downgrade application cannot be processed).
