What is a Tiger Token
Tiger Token is a security app developed by Tiger Brokers (HK) to further protect the user's trading security, after the two-step verification is enabled, the user needs to input the login/trading password as well as the dynamic password generated by the Tiger Token app when logging in/trading. Only after both passwords are verified at the same time can you enter the app or enter the order page. Users can choose to enable or disable the tiger token according to their needs. To ensure security, we recommend all users to enable two-step verification.
How to enable tiger token (two-step verification)
Tiger Trade APP supports two ways to enable Tiger Token: by Tiger Trade association or by key association.
1.Associated by Tiger Trade APP
The first time you open the Tiger Token app the screen is displayed as follows.
Click on "Open Tiger Trade for association."
If you have Tiger Trade app installed on your mobile phone, then click on it and you will be redirected to the Tiger Trade admin two-step verification page (as shown in the picture below).
Click "Enable two-step verification" to enter the two-step verification enablement process.
1.1 Enter your current login password when prompted.
1.2 After you pass the password verification, click on the "Link Now" button to link the Tiger Trade and Tiger tokens.
1.3 If this is your first time associating a tiger token, you need to set a gesture password for the tiger token.
1.4 Under normal circumstances, you will see the prompt of successfully linking your tiger token. For easy identification of your account information, we recommend you to set an easy to remember alias.
1.5 Remember the dynamic password you just generated (make sure it is within the validity period), click "de-enable" at the bottom of the page to jump back to Tiger Trade (if you don't see the prompt, please switch back to Tiger Trade APP manually).
1.6 Enter your six-digit dynamic password in Tiger Trade
1.7 Successful Tiger Token Activation
Enable the Tiger Token by scanning the code.
2.1 You can enable two-step verification via the Tiger web/PC terminal trading software (go to 2.2) or the Tiger Brokers (HK) website (go to 2.4).
2.2 Click on the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the web/PC terminal trading software to enter the settings screen. The diagram is as follows.
2.3 Click "Two-step verification" to go to the official two-step verification page (Go to 2.5).
2.4 Select "Two-step verification" from the personal center of Tiger Brokers (HK) website and click "Open two-step verification" to enter the two-step verification opening process.
2.5 Enter your current login password when prompted.
2.6 You will be prompted to download the tiger token APP after successful password verification, if you have already downloaded the tiger token APP, please click the next step to continue.
2.7 Open your Tiger Token App and select "Key Association".
2.8 Point your phone's camera at the QR code on the web page or select the QR code from the web page saved in the photo
2.9 If this is your first time associating a tiger token, you will need to set a gesture password for the tiger token.
2.10 Under normal circumstances, you will see a notification that the tiger token has been successfully associated with your account.
2.11 Remember your newly generated token password (make sure it is still valid).
2.12 Enter your six-digit dynamic password on the web page
